G.F. Zaimis is an American poet, polymath, serial creative and adviser. She has appropriated, progressed and translated portions of Ancient Greek mythology, philosophy and poetry. A Southerner and New Yorker Emeritus who currently lives in Athens, her grammatology braids/re-braids multi-disciplinary dialogues from the contemporary to literary arts. She is the author of three poetry collections including her newest, Therapy with Antigone and the Trilogy Verses (2017), the translator from Ancient Greek to English verse in sestina of Cleanthes’ Hymn to Zeus and the architect of two new poetic forms, the portico and triptych.
